There’s a roster move: they’ve activated offensive lineman Emery Jones Jr. to the 53-man roster. That move was necessary because they’ve placed OLB Tavius Robinson on Injured Reserve.  Unfortunately, Robinson is expected to miss about six to eight weeks after breaking his foot in the Week 6 loss to the Rams. The second update is the one everyone’s talking about: the status of Lamar Jackson for Sunday’s game against the Bears.

“It’s hard to put a number on it. I don’t have any shareable injury intelligence.”

Jackson returned to practice on October 22nd, his first time since suffering that hamstring strain back in Week 4, which is a great sign of progress. With the 4-3 Ravens facing a pivotal game, they desperately need their star QB. If Jackson’s dual-threat ability is back to full strength, he could absolutely feast on Chicago’s 28th-ranked pass defense.

Good news! Lamar was back on the field today, which is huge progress in his hamstring recovery. But… that’s all Coach Harbaugh is sharing. No update on whether he actually plays Sunday vs. the Bears.

Jackson, who has been sidelined with a hamstring strain, returned to the practice field. While this is a clear step forward, Head Coach John Harbaugh was quick to temper expectations about Jackson playing in this Sunday’s critical game against the Bears.

Harbaugh Keeps Details Under Wraps: During his press conference, Harbaugh acknowledged it was good to have Jackson back, but refused to give a definitive answer on his status. He added that there is currently no shareable injury information available.

Head Coach John Harbaugh is keeping his backup plan completely under wraps, declining to name a starter between Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley if Jackson can’t go. As Harbaugh put it, he doesn’t see ‘any benefit to sharing his thought process.’

Adding to the anxiety, ESPN insider Dan Graziano reported a cautious outlook, stating he was led to believe by sources that Jackson might miss another game while recovering from the injury.’

“I had a couple of conversations with people familiar with this situation that led me to believe Jackson might miss another game while recovering from the injury,”

For now, all we can do is wait and see what Lamar’s health allows him to do over the next few days. Sunday’s kickoff will be the ultimate answer. Be sure to follow all the latest news and updates here on Essentially Sports as we bring you the final word!
