The former New England Patriots HC, Bill Belichick, is one of the most successful coaches in NFL history. The guy has helped the Patriots lift the Super Bowl trophy six times and two times for the Giants when he was the offensive coordinator. And, he is the only coach in the NFL to have won that many Super Bowl trophies.

After parting ways with the Patriots this year, Belichick gave the Falcons HC job a shot but ended up losing it to Raheem Morris. And it created a frenzy in the NFL world after it was reported that Bill Belichick is trying for a gig at UNC. The eight-time NFL Super Bowl champion coach in college football? Sounds crazy, right? Several sources have claimed that the 72-year-old interviewed for the Tar Heels, the University of North Carolina’s football team.

With all the buzz going around, former NFL player Mike Golic Sr. broke down why Belichick could be a strong candidate for the UNC HC job. “Mack Brown was the oldest FBS coach out there. And Belichick is just a year younger. So he would go in as the oldest FBS coach as well. And I get it. He does fit the system now because the system is more pro-style than college style,” said Mike. 

We can’t say for sure if Bill will get the job. But with his age and lack of college football coaching experience, it seems unlikely. The former Patriots coach has been making headlines this year for more than just his coaching stints, including dating a 24-year-old.

When talking about his latest move, host Jessie Coffield, along with Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr., didn’t hesitate to bring it up. Coffield jokingly said, “Guys, what was your first reaction when you heard this news? Definitely not where we thought Bill Belichick was going to pop up, but then again, you know, he’s hanging out with the youths.”

Well, the couple has not only been public for quite sometime, but are also stealing spotlights in red carpet events!

Bill Belichick has the internet divided after people found out he was dating a girl 48 years younger than him. Jordan Hudson, a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader, met the former Patriots coach on a flight back in 2021. Posting a picture of herself with Bill on her Instagram, she captioned, “This is my formal petition for @BillBelichick to change his handle to @ BillyGoat !! 🐐”  

The duo also celebrated Halloween together. Jordon dressed up as a mermaid and Bill went as a fisherman. She posted the pictures on her Instagram where Bill commented, “My biggest catch!!!” After vacations and Halloween together, the couple has now made their red carpet-debut. Posing together at the Museum of Natural History gala, the couple can be seen rocking black outfits.

The GoJo and Golic host, Jessie, joked about Bill coaching 18 to 22- year-olds. When Mike talked about keeping Bill away from the frat parties, she jokingly said, “Keep your girlfriend close. There’s cheerleaders too. God. Oh, man.” As if that’s not all, even Antonio Brown decided to chime in the conversation, wanting to ‘be like Belichick‘ when he will be older.
