His mode of protest against the officials was unprofessional and only counterproductive, as he got a misconduct penalty for his behavior. Fans on the internet called him out for the same by claiming that he lost his mind, “Matt LaFleur just lost his mind with the refs and got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.” Well, the words may be harsh, but LaFleur’s actions brought him these just consequences.

This one fan wasn’t going to excuse this behavior by LaFleur. There was a consensus among some fans that Matt’s situation was complicated since he called for a time out and the referee didn’t hear him, leading to this outburst. However, this particular viewer thinks the Green Bay just came unprepared, “What a baby. Just because your guys aren’t prepared” Do you agree?

Of course, the netizens didn’t go easy on him with their word choice either. Someone even said, “That was wild. He was feral,” to describe the situation when Matt lost his temper. Although you may not completely agree with this, his inability to calm himself down in a critical moment cost him an undesired penalty.

Yet again, we have one more adjective used for the reputed Head Coach that may catch you off guard, “Get that THUG off the field!” This clearly shows that the fanbase may be divided on the call, but the ones unified against Matt are working creatively to generate new names for him.

At last, we have a Vikings fan who believes that Minnesota deserves all the credit for rattling the coach in question, “Hilarious. Vikes have him rattled.” While it is true that the scoreboard must have put him in a tense headspace, the referee’s potential involuntary negligence can also be held accountable.
