Feeding pro footballer Travis Hunter isn’t an easy task, even for his wife. Back in high school, his pregame meal consisted of gummy bears, Chipotle, and wet hot wings. As a two-way star for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Hunter’s diet is as picky as his palate. However, it serves as the premise for Leanna Lenee’s ‘Kickoff Kitchen’ series, where she prepares regional specialties for the Jaguars’ opponents on any given week. This viral social media sensation has had to learn to embrace the challenge, even if it does cause her some anxiety on camera.

The mother of one opened up about her fears after a viewer commented “girl we neeeeed these on youtube!!” under her Week 3 TikTok video.
While replying to the comment, Leanna noted, “I just filmed my first video😭 I’m nervous though” to let fans know she was branching out on her own.
Travis Hunter and Leanna tied the knot in May 2025 at The Barn at Faith Farms in Tennessee, shortly after Hunter was drafted 2nd overall by the Jaguars. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in August 2025.
Leanna’s ‘Kickoff Kitchen’ is inspired by chef Tim Lopez’s book, ‘Kickoff Kitchen: 64 Game-Day Recipes Inspired by Every Pro Football Team.’ Lopez, who cooked for the Eagles for 14 years, wrote the book. Leanna uses his recipes to prepare dishes from whomever the Jaguars are facing off that Sunday.
She filmed a recipe from New England for Week 3, but couldn’t find any clams for the appetizer. Leanna improvised and prepared buttered lobster rolls instead. She confessed on camera that she was a little nervous while making the dish: “I’m a little nervous, though. I don’t think Travis is going to like this at all.”
In Week 3, the Jaguars defense dominated the New England Patriots, 35-6, at EverBank Stadium on Sunday, and Travis Hunter was in the middle of it all as he picked off Patriots QB Drake Maye in the end zone while playing roughly 50 snaps on the night.
“That’s terrible. I ain’t eating that no more,” Travis Hunter said after taking a bite from the plate, reaching for a paper towel to wipe his mouth. “That is trash. I would never eat that again.”
When asked to rate the meal, Travis replied: “One out of 10. Straight trash. The Lays good though,” said Travis, who wore a headset and team apparel while playing video games at their house.
Leanna was much kinder, giving the dish a 5.5 out of 10 on screen while holding their son. “I think what made it was the coleslaw for me, so I think overall, like without it, it’d probably like a four, but with the coleslaw, like a six.”
Travis Hunter and the Jaguars will be making the trip to Cincinnati next to face the Bengals, who pack lots of potency in the WR department. Travis Hunter will be up against Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on Sunday, and he’ll probably need something better than the buttered lobster rolls to fuel himself for the huge task at hand.
