One Mahomes is complaining, and the other is transforming. Patrick Mahomes is yet again making the headlines, but for very different reasons. On one side, Patrick is silencing the body shamers and trolls by stepping into his best shape. But on the other side, his brother Jackson is doing what he does best – complaining on Instagram about Patrick being omnipresent.

This is not the first time that Jackson Mahomes has taken a comic jab at Patrick. Last year, he posted a picture with Patrick – both dressed in all-black outfits with silver chains – twinning, “Bro decided to dress like me😂.” Yes, why not, because a three-time Super Bowl MVP needs fashion tips from his brother. Classic brother behavior.

Fast forward to now, Jackson is whining about his brother “watching him.” This week, Jackson posted an Instagram story featuring a Community America (credit union) ad with Patrick in his Chiefs uniform. The tagline read, “Make the world a better place in every action you take.” While most people would take that as an inspiring message, Jackson saw something else. His caption? “@Patrickmahomes why are you always watching me haha😂.”

The brothers, Patrick and Jackson Mahomes, grew up together in Tyler, Texas. The sons of former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes Sr. While Patrick followed in his father’s footsteps, Jackson took a completely different route – of social media, viral dances, and occasionally pulling his brother’s leg in front of the entire world.

Patrick, being the elder brother, has always guarded Jackson from all the scrutiny he faces by being the brother of Patrick Mahomes. “He’s his own person. He’s trying to live his life,” Patrick once said, emphasizing that he doesn’t let outside noise affect their relationship. It looks like their relationship is a little reversed. Often we see the elder one behaving the way Jackson does. But here it’s the complete opposite.

But while Jackson is out here making everything about himself, Patrick is doing the exact opposite – letting his actions speak louder than words.

Patrick Mahomes’ Revenge Tour: From “Dad Bod” to Dominant

Mahomes has never been one to respond to social media noise, but after being body-shamed ahead of Super Bowl LIX for what trolls dubbed his “dad bod,” he’s coming back with a statement. And that statement is chiseled.

During Super Bowl week, critics focused more on Mahomes’ build than on his three rings and two MVPs. But now, just weeks into the 2025 NFL offseason, those same critics are getting a front-row seat to his transformation. A recent Instagram video showed Mahomes grinding through an intense training session with his longtime trainer, Bobby Stroupe, accompanied by a simple but powerful message: “We shall be back to the Bowl next year.”

If the workout video turned heads, a recent golf outing with Travis Kelce sent social media into a frenzy. A photo of Mahomes at North Carolina’s legendary Pinehurst Resort revealed a noticeably leaner and more muscular frame—effectively silencing the dad-bod jokes in one viral moment.

The timing couldn’t be better. After the Chiefs’ disappointing 40-22 Super Bowl LIX loss to the Eagles, Kansas City is reloading for another deep playoff run. And with Mahomes visibly more locked in than ever, the league has been put on notice.

So, while Jackson Mahomes is complaining about seeing Patrick everywhere,. Patrick Mahomes is making sure when people see him, they see greatness. The message is clear: Patrick Mahomes isn’t just watching – he’s working. And when next season rolls around, everyone will be watching him.
