She’s regularly appearing on the TODAY show from time to time, but this appearance got Travis Kelce and his brother thinking that Mama Kelce is a gifted host. While Jason Kelce has signed a deal to host MNF on ESPN, Travis Kelce is set to host “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” soon.

Donna Kelce on Mother’s Day coming up, talked about how her sons aren’t the best gift-givers. The New Heights podcast took to their platform and had a few bits to share about their mother and picked up on their gifting habits. However, an Instagram post gave a gist of what happened on the podcast.

The Kelce brothers couldn’t believe that their mother was doing so well on the TODAY Show. Highlighting their surprise, Donna Kelce and TODAY Show’s account on IG shared a post that was captioned, “America’s football mom has quickly become a beloved presence on TODAY. 🧡.”

“Mama Kelce got on the TODAY show, yet again,” Travis Kelce said in the latest episode of “New Heights” released May 1. “She might as well host this f—— thing, are you kidding me? 😂. She’s welcome back whenever!” One of her most popular appearances on the show was when the Kansas City Chiefs were preparing for the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs Tight End’s mother shared her ways of encouraging Kelce before big games. She admitted that her sons are busy at times, but she does what she can to always support them. Earlier, the mother of two mentioned that she was excited that the Chiefs were headed for the Super Bowl.

“I really am. It is going to be a dream to go back-to-back like this, back to the Super Bowl. And (I’m) really excited,” said the mother and later added, “I try not to bother them on game day because they’re a little busy and I don’t think I’m going to get through, but usually I try.”

As Mother’s Day approaches, Donna Kelce admitted a few things about her children.

The mother gives her take on the gifting situation

She went on the TODAY Show and shared her list of Amazon’s Mother’s Day gifts had things like robes, hair dryers, phone cases, and a couple of household stuff. But despite her sharing the list, the Kelce brothers admitted that they aren’t really “good gift-givers.” Travis and his brother addressed the situation on their podcast.

“Mom was on the TODAY show to share some Mother’s Day gift ideas, and she was also asked if the two of us are good at Mother’s Day gifts. Are we gift-givers?” Travis Kelce asked.

“Don’t ask Kylie,” Jason Kelce said, referring to his wife. “I am a bad gift planner and giver.”

“At least she was honest, and she didn’t just keep us like we’re unhuman,” Travis Kelce said about their mom. “You’ve got to be s—– at something.”

However, Jason Kelce later mentioned that her mother usually gets “a heartfelt Mother’s Day text.” Hopefully, the Kelce brothers take notes this time and have that Amazon Wish list fulfilled this time around.
