Joe D’Alessandris—The Heart of Baltimore’s O-Line

D’Alessandris joined the Ravens in 2017, and in his seven seasons, he mentored five Pro Bowl offensive linemen, including stars like Marshal Yanda and Ronnie Stanley

With Joe D. at the helm, Baltimore’s O-line was always a top-10 unit in run and pass-blocking. HC Harbaugh called him “a huge part of our offense,” praising Joe D for top-tier game-planning and his key role in rebuilding the Ravens’ O-line with three new starters this season. His football journey covered every corner—from college to the CFL, and then to the NFL with the Bills and Chargers.

But Joe D. was more than stats and strategy; he was the heart of the team, reading at team mass on game days and inspiring everyone with his commitment and faith. As GM Eric DeCosta said, “Coach was the consummate teacher and friend.”

Joe D’Alessandris leaves behind a legacy of love and excellence. And his impact on the team and the NFL community will be felt for years to come.
