Live life boldly and unapologetically, that’s exactly how FOX reporter Charissa Thompson rolls. She’s always valued her freedom, chasing her dreams since she was a kid. So when Kylie Kelce said, “It makes you almost a stronger woman to be able to say, ‘I’m not going to follow what society tells me to do,” Thompson couldn’t have agreed more. That mindset shaped her past relationships, built on self-awareness and a deep need for personal freedom. But with her new partner, Steven Cundari, it’s a different story. So then, what’s behind the hesitation?
The couple made their relationship official back in July 2022. But even after nearly three years together, marriage still doesn’t seem to be on Charissa Thompson’s radar, despite constantly showing love for Steven Cundari online. Just like she did on Wednesday, when she posted a sweet new photo on her official Instagram account.
In this update, Charissa and Steven are seen sharing a warm moment, posing together, and soaking in the love. But the real heart-melter? Her caption. She tagged him with a simple, sweet line: “Love doing this life with you, Tommy.” And Cundari, too, didn’t shy away in showing his love for the woman, as he wrote on the comment: “Luv u 2 Linda…ur lookin’ real damn spicy in them striped pants.”

In the photo, Charissa Thompson rocked a white tee paired with blue-and-white striped pants, casually layering a sweater over her shoulders for that cool, effortless vibe. Steven kept it laid-back too, wearing a gray tee and pants inspired by the American flag. Both sported sunglasses, soaking in the golden glow of an early morning sunrise. The whole moment, their outfits, the closeness, and her caption about loving life with him, felt so picture-perfect, it even sparked a fan to ask the question: “How many times you gonna get married, are you trying to break Liz Taylor’s record?”
For context, legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor was famously married eight times to seven different men. Charissa Thompson, on the other hand, has been married twice, making Steven Cundari her third serious relationship. So naturally, a curious fan popped the question about possible wedding plans. But the 43-year-old took it in stride and kept things light.
Charissa Thompson started with a laughing emoji, then responded with calm honesty. “No more marriage for me, but thanks for asking. Just being with a man who is kind and doesn’t take from me is all the commitment I need! Have a great day,” she said. At least, Thompson is clearly happy with her beau, and that all matters in a relationship. But yes, one thing is true: after experiencing failed marriages, the podcaster is completely against the vows.

Charissa Thompson opens up about her previous marriages
Charissa Thompson isn’t married right now, and honestly, she’s okay with that. After going through two marriages that didn’t work out, she’s choosing peace over pressure. Talking about the previous marriages, on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, the FOX Sports host put it bluntly: “I married the wrong people, plural. I don’t want to attach myself to something that I can’t detach from.” And this wasn’t the first time she spoke about her future marriage plans.
While chatting on her Calm Down podcast with best friend Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson doubled down: “I am never getting married again. We have already talked about it. We have already gone through all the reasons why.” She made it clear that she’s all for a party, but don’t expect her to exchange vows. “Who cares about the vows anyway? No one wants to listen to that s— and promises and this and that. Do that on your own time. People just want to show up for the party. So, if you want me to have a party, I can do that. I’m just not going to have a wedding,” she added.

Indeed, the two failed marriages and a former rumored relationship with Jay Williams for a couple of years have left a heavy impact on Thompson’s life. Her latest marriage was with sports agent Kyle Thousand. They got engaged in 2020 and had a small, sweet ceremony. She was excited, even said the day felt perfect, though COVID kept many loved ones from attending. But things changed. Just two years later, in April 2022, she filed for divorce, saying it just couldn’t work anymore. That pain wasn’t something she hid.
On her podcast, she got real and talked about how tough it was, especially growing up believing in marriage thanks to her parents, who’ve been together since they were 18. Her first marriage, at 25, is still kind of a mystery. She’s only ever said nice things about her ex. She even joked once online about finding him a date. But now? She’s with Steven Cundari, and things feel different. No vows, no pressure. Just love, kindness, and the freedom to be herself. And that’s more than enough for her!
