Daniel Jones‘ biggest nightmare is already a reality. After giving his all for the past ten games, the QB will be benched. While many legends believe that this was the appropriate thing to do, others are strongly opposed. They allege that the New York Giants’ managers are not being fair to their fans. Which may be correct given how strongly Jones’ fans are currently devoted to him.

Well, the legend here is none other than former NFL player Emmanuel Acho. He was present at The Facility, where he gave the Giants a reality check. The man remarked that the team has always been making the worst decisions. Benching Daniel Jones is another example of a choice made because they do not intend to play seriously in the coming games. They see the following games as an opportunity to experiment. That is not at all fair to the fans.

Emmanuel Acho explained the situation, “I think it is malpractice, this is managerial malpractice what you are seeing from the New York Giants….. They are stealing from the New York Giants fanbase. If we are being honest, we have six to seven games remaining to play. If you are already going to start tanking for all the defensive purposes, that’s unfair to the fanbase”

The ex-NFLer didn’t stop here. Following his rant, he began to explain how the GM, Joe Schoen, was responsible for the malpractice.

Even before benching Daniel Jones, GM Joe Schoen was unfairly using his position

This may sound strange to you, but it is true. Joe Schoen four months ago claimed, “You are paying the guy 40 million dollars. It’s not to hand the ball off to a $12 Million back.” Obviously, everyone is aware that the $40 million player is Daniel Jones, and the $12 million player is Saquon Barkley.

The GM’s statements were emphasized by Emmanuel Acho. The ex-NFLer remarked that this is an excellent example of power being abused. Saquon Barkley was a talented player who gave the Giants six years of his NFL career. However, he was released solely because management desired it. This implied that it was yet another unfair act by the Giants’ administration.

Just like at the time, fans were disappointed by this release, they are once again saddened by Daniel Jones’ benching. Tommy DeVito, on the other side, is facing criticism as a result of this poor decision by the team’s management. The new starting quarterback will be under a lot of pressure now. He is not just expected to win this next game. But perhaps he also needs to play a significant role in it.

But there is some home for the new starter QB. The Giants will face the Bucs in the following game, which will be played on their own field. This suggests that DeVito may be able to outperform Daniel Jones in that game. Only time will tell whether the individual is capable of doing so, as everyone knows anything can happen in the NFL. Stay tuned for further updates on the New York Giants’ situation.
