The NFL trade session is still ongoing, and the speculations are at their peak. NFL analysts are weighing in on the rumored trades and projecting how it will play out. Former general manager Mike Tannenbaum recently made a similar claim regarding Myles Garrett’s` trade. The Lions are reportedly interested in Garett, and Tannenbaum has proposed a deal that the Browns will accept.

This was an excellent deal for the Browns, but the Lions were shortchanged. Fans saw this and began to criticize the former GM all over the internet. Mike Tannenbaum proposed a deal in which the Lions would receive only Myles Garrett while the Browns would receive three first-round picks, a second-round pick, and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Fans have been left disappointed since the Lions would not trade Gibbs for anyone. They believe that the WR is their primary big-time player in the offense and that moving him would be foolish. One fan explained this situation and stated, “You could remove the three first-round picks and the 2nd round pick and Brad Holmes still says no. Jahmyr Gibbs is a stud, on a rookie deal, and a big part of this offense.”

That was not it. Some other supporters also explained why this transfer will never take place. They discussed why Jahmyr Gibbs is so vital and how Myles Garrett would never be. One fan shouted, “The Lions aren’t even the Lions without Jahmyr Gibbs, the explosiveness of their run and pass game is based on his stretch run looks, this move may actually make them worse short term and way worse long term.”

While these were significant explanations, Mike Tannenbaum has received a massive backlash too. Fans say he made the worst proposal when it comes to trade players.

Mike Tannenbaum is dubbed retarded over Myles Garrett’s trade proposal

“Holy s–t that guy is retarded” Seeing these sorts of remarks from fans, it’s evident that they’re not happy. Myles Garrett will be a big move for the Lions, but it appears that supporters prefer Gibbs. Tannenbaum may not have anticipated this when he devised the projected trade arrangement.

This retarded portion was not it, as supporters are excessively mocking the old GM. They claim that he was dismissed because of these precise strategies in the first place. One fan stated, “No wonder he got fired.”

One fan went so far as to say that it now makes obvious why other NFL teams never recruited him as general manager: “Makes sense why Mike Tannenbaum is no longer an NFL GM.”

While all of this is going on, it will be interesting to watch what happens next with the potential Myles Garrett deal. Browns will undoubtedly expect something good in exchange for the DE. Only time will tell who it will be; in the meantime, what are your opinions on the trade?
