The adorable IG video captioned “Baby Mahomes #3” featured the Mahomes fam—Patrick, Brittany, and their two adorable kiddos, Sterling and Bronze. Sterling, the soon-to-be big sis, took center stage with a giant tic-tac-toe board. One big move later, and bam! Out popped a pink puff! Grandpa Pat Mahomes Sr. couldn’t contain his excitement, commenting, “Can’t wait to see her! Pat Pat is so excited!”

The love was electric—Mahomes and Brittany shared a kiss and wrapped their kids in a hug. Meanwhile, fans went crazy in the comments with warm wishes and cute baby name ideas like ‘Goldie’ or ‘Golden.’ This gender reveal comes right after the Chiefs QB wife’s stunning pregnancy reveal a week back, where the Mahomes fam rocked matching all-white outfits—a total dream moment!

While Grandpa Pat Sr. is basking in the joy of his third grandchild, there’s a bit of a problem in his personal life. This happy news comes just days before he’s got to face the music for yet another legal fumble.

Pat Mahomes Sr. faces third DUI charge amidst family celebrations

The Chiefs’ star QB’s father, Mahomes Sr., faced his third strike with DWI charges on Feb 3, just days before his son’s Super Bowl victory. He was officially indicted in Smith County, Texas, on a ‘Driving While Intoxicated’ charge.

Back in 1994, the 53-year-old faced a DUI (Driving Under Influence) charge, which reportedly led to a car accident. Fast forward to 2016, and he dealt with a public intoxication charge during a college football game between Texas Christian and Texas Tech University. Then, in 2018, another DUI landed Mahomes Sr. with a 40-day sentence. Now, this third potential felony charge could bring a hefty fine of $10,000 and even a 10-year prison sentence.

While details of the February arrest haven’t been released, it’s clear this isn’t Patrick Mahomes’ dad’s first strike off the baseball field. Pat Sr. is a retired MLB pitcher who’s played for several teams—the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, etc.—from 1992 to 2003.

With the arrival of his new granddaughter, let’s just hope that Mahomes Sr. learns from his past mistakes and sidesteps any legal fumbles.
