On Thursday, December 4, Jake Ferguson’s fiancée and basketball player Haley Cavinder surprised everyone with her Instagram story ahead of the Week 14 showdown. She showed her support for her fiancé’s career in every way she could.

Cavinder posted a link on social media, requesting votes for the Pro Bowl. Ferguson is seen in red-hot form this year with 70 receptions for 496 receiving yards and a career-high seven touchdowns in 12 games. She also dropped a mirror selfie in the same IG story, donning a black leather dress with a hat.

Besides that, Cavinder caught fans’ attention after posting another IG story, which featured her friendship with Dak Prescott‘s fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, and other WAGs of the Cowboys franchise at Ford Field, Detroit.

The Cowboys’ tight end has been selected to the Pro Bowls once before. So, she is trying to give him the big push. After all, her man is in his Pro Bowl form, surpassing his 761 receiving yards in 2023.

So, Cavinder is doing her best to support Ferguson, as she often visits stadiums to cheer for the tight end. Just a week ago, she was at AT&T Stadium during the Cowboys vs Chiefs clash.

Jake Ferguson flagged at a critical moment

Jake Ferguson had a pretty rough game at Michigan. In five receptions, he recorded 58 yards but failed to score a touchdown. One of the most defining moments came in the fourth quarter as they trailed the Lions 37-27.

Around the four-minute mark, he was in a close contest with the Lions’ linebacker Alex Anzalone on a 3rd and 3 down. Once Prescott threw the ball, he tried to get past the linebacker, who had his arms around the tight end’s waist. From the other end, safety Brian Branch came running and knocked Ferguson out as he dropped the ball.

What made it even more frustrating for the Cowboys camp was that the referees called it an offensive pass interference (OPI) penalty. Everyone from head coach Brian Schottenheimer to the rules analyst Terry McAulay disagreed with the referee’s decision. But in the end, they watched in silence as kicker Brandon Aubrey scored a field goal. The Cowboys lost the game 44-30.

Though Haley Cavinder was in the stands, Jake Ferguson’s luck couldn’t save the day. But their love and bond remain pretty heartwarming.
