According to an Instagram story from Tad Prescott, Dak is set to return to his hometown for a special honor. Reason? Haughton High School in Louisiana, where the QB graduated, will officially name its football field “Dak Prescott Field.” The ceremony will be at Buccaneer Stadium on November 6th. Prescott is set to attend the event following his matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on November 3.

Earlier this year, Prescott donated more than $1 million to Haughton High to help pay for a new weight room and to put in a huge video board at the stadium. As a thank you, the school decided to name the field after him. Head coach Matthew Sewell praised Dak’s influence, saying he reflects “everything we want all Buccaneers to be.”

Tickets to the event are just $5, with Bossier Parish School Board employees getting in free of charge. Plus, students from K–12 who attend the ceremony will have a chance to win autographed footballs signed by Dak himself. The ceremony serves as both a fundraiser and a homecoming celebration for a hometown hero.
