Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and his wife, Annah, are adding another member to their family. The couple announced Tuesday that they are expecting their third child, sharing the news with a series of family photos on Instagram. That’s when Annah Tagovailoa wrote the news on a post, attracting a heartfelt reaction from Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“Yayyyyyy🥹🤍 congrats guys!!,” Mahomes commented.

The comment came on Annah’s post that shared:

“Baby Tagovailoa #3 coming soon 🤍 Our hearts are so full.”

Tua and Annah are parents to their son, Ace, who was born in August 2022, not long after they got married. They welcomed their daughter, Maisey, the following year. They have mostly kept their family life out of the spotlight, so sharing the news of another baby was a more personal glimpse into their lives.

Tua has spoken before about how much becoming a father changed his perspective. In 2022, he explained that having a child gave him a different outlook on life and that there was no real “playbook” for becoming a parent.

Family has remained an important part of Tua’s life throughout his NFL career. When he and Annah welcomed Ace, Tua talked about wanting to play long enough for his son to understand what his father did for a living. He has also credited his family as an important part of his decision-making away from football.

Earlier this year, Tagovailoa spoke about how much fatherhood has changed his outlook.

“I think kids are the best at this age. I think it’s the best, man. I’m just glad I still get to live my dream out and be able to play. I’m so blessed. But it’s the best, man,” he said while speaking to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in May.

Tagovailoa has previously described his children as a source of perspective away from football, saying that the result of a game does not change how they see him when he gets home. With another child now on the way, that family-first outlook is becoming an even bigger part of his life.

This news comes as Tua settles into a brand new situation. Six seasons in Miami are behind him now. Atlanta is the next chapter in 2026.

It has been a long road since Miami called his name with the fifth pick in 2020. For now, he will be hoping his stay in Atlanta is more successful.
