Earlier this week, the Colts’ starting QB, Daniel Jones’ name was added to the injury list for the first time this season. He reportedly had a knee injury, and his participation in the Week 12 game was questionable. But now, he has received the green light to play. While speaking to the media on Friday, HC Steichen revealed that Jones’ injury was, in fact, related to his fibula. While the team is cautious, the QB will be taking part in the game. The Indianapolis Colts last practiced on Friday, and before that, they had three injured players. However, the latest news from the franchise revealed that two players, CB Charvarius Ward Sr., and DE Tyquan Lewis, have returned from injury.

During a pregame warmup in Week 6, the cornerback suffered a collision with reserve TE Drew Ogletree. The collision left him feeling dizzy and nauseated, keeping him on the sidelines for a month. However, after being activated from the IR, his “questionable” status has been lifted. The CB was fully active during the practice sessions on all three days of the week.

Wide receiver Xavier Worthy and tackle Kingsley Suamataia remain “questionable” ahead of the clash against the Colts. The former has been constantly suffering from ankle issues, but started all games after recovering from a dislocated shoulder injury, sustained in Week 1.

Kingsley Suamataia suffered a concussion against the Denver Broncos in Week 11 and has been sidelined since then. Both Worthy and Suamataia did not practice on Wednesday, then did limited practice on Thursday, and then fully participated in practice on Friday. They have proven themselves to be crucial for Andy Reid’s team. With their names on the match sheet against the Colts remaining in question, it could potentially be a heavy blow for the Chiefs on Sunday.

On paper, the Colts appear to be a better team. They are leading the AFC South with an 8-2 record and have fewer injury problems.
