The Kansas City Chiefs have reached 5-3 after a shaky start to the season. Travis Kelce, too, has finally found his rhythm on the field. And it looks like things are even better off the field, with reports suggesting that the tight end and his fiancée, pop star Taylor Swift, have decided on a date and place to tie the knot.

The couple has apparently locked June 13, 2026, as their wedding date. And that makes sense, considering 13 is Swift’s lucky number.

“I love numerology. I love math stuff, I love dates,” Swift had said on the August 13 episode of the New Heights podcast, which was dropped 13 days before she and Kelce announced their engagement.

As for where the wedding will be held, they have reportedly chosen the Breakers in Newport, Rhode Island, for the big day. In fact, podcast host Fiona Shea reported that another bride was allegedly offered compensation to reschedule her wedding date to free up the slot for the celebrity couple.

“She was reached out to by the establishment where she’s having her wedding and they said, ‘Hey, would you be willing to actually change the date of your wedding?’” Shea said, claiming that the unnamed celebrity was “allegedly Taylor Swift.”

Built between 1893 and 1895, the 70-room Italian Renaissance–style mansion is now valued at about half a billion dollars and is owned and operated by the Preservation Society of Newport County, which, however, has denied claims that Kelce and Swift have booked the place.

“Taylor Swift is not getting married at the Breakers, or any other property the society runs,” said spokesperson Gary Ruff.

Parallel rumors, on the other hand, have suggested that the Swift-Kelce wedding could take place at the Ocean House Hotel, which isn’t too far away from the pop star’s Watch Hill Estate, which is widely known to be the venue for her grand Fourth of July parties.

No matter where the couple chooses to get married, if the engagement’s any indication, it’s going to be an event that will leave the world stunned.

Kelce went down on one knee and popped the question to Swift with an Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond ring, elegantly designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. The breathtaking gemstone boasts an elongated central diamond surrounded by two smaller ones, all placed in custom-engraved yellow gold. It was complemented by the $27,300 Cartier watch that Taylor had on her wrist during the proposal.

Leave it to Kelce to go big both on and off the field.

Travis Kelce equals record in Washington game

Travis Kelce was finally seen like the Kelce we all know. During the Chiefs’ Week 8 victory over the Washington Commanders, Kelce delivered his best game of the season, hauling in six receptions for 99 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown evened him up with Priest Holmes for the Chiefs’ record for most regular-season touchdowns (83).

”That’s the true Chief of Chiefs,” Patrick Mahomes said in praise of Kelce after the game. “That’s the guy that was here before me. He’s the guy who sets the culture, he’s the guy that’s in the building early, in the building late. So, to be able to get him that record, tying it? Let’s go out and break it now.”

Swift, too, was there, cheering her future husband on. In fact, she has attended every Chiefs home game this season. And while she is keeping a much lower profile compared to last year, rest assured that the wedding is going to be anything but.
