It’s either Kylie Kelce has no idea when her brother-in-law’s wedding actually is, or she’s taken Father Figure’s singer’s words, “I protect the family,” a little too seriously. It’s been over half a year since your “English teacher and gym teacher,”i.e., Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, got engaged. The air has been full of love, but even thicker with anticipation about when the most-awaited wedding will finally take place. Naturally, fans are ready to take any crumb of information (or rumor, honestly) that comes their way. But Kylie has made it clear, yet again, that she has none to offer.

On the April 2 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie, who is married to former NFL star Jason Kelce, got real about how she feels when asked about her brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s upcoming marriage to pop star Taylor Swift.

“To literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always, but quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials. Nobody’s f—ing telling you anything.”

Kylie also called on people to stop asking her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, questions about the marriage in public as well.

“Stop f–king asking my mother-in-law, TMZ,” she said on the podcast. “F–king being creeps in the f–king airport. Ew. Here’s the thing, even if I did have any information, I’m not f–king telling you. That’s private information between family. A and B, see your way out.”
Her reaction wasn’t coming out of nowhere either. In the weeks leading up to this podcast episode, Kylie had already been fielding similar questions elsewhere.

During her March 2026 appearance on Conversations With Cam, host Cameron Rogers jokingly tried to catch her off guard while she was coloring and asked what fans could expect from the wedding. Kylie kept things light but firm: “I would love to give you all the details. I don’t have them.” When pressed again moments later, she repeated, “Oh, I don’t know… I have no idea.”

Importantly, her frustration, however, wasn’t about the wedding itself– or the couple. In the same interview also offered one of the clearest glimpses of how she actually feels about Taylor joining the family. Speaking about the engagement, Kylie shared that the kids were “so excited to get another aunt.” It was a small but telling moment. 

Even on her own podcast, Kylie later clarified that Rogers’ question had been asked “appropriately” because it was framed as a joke, adding that the host “knows how ridiculous that question is.” The sharper pushback, she suggested, was aimed instead at repeated attempts to get answers from family members who aren’t involved in planning the wedding.

That distinction became especially clear when she referenced paparazzi approaching Donna Kelce at an airport for details.

How did TMZ pressure Donna Kelce?

The Kelce family is keeping their lips sealed when it comes to the highly anticipated wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Both Travis’s sister-in-law, Kylie, and his mother, Donna, are making a serious effort to keep the details private. But TMZ tried to test the wall of secrets.

Recently, after spotting Donna Kelce at the Los Angeles Airport, the media outlet TMZ tried to ask her numerous questions

“Is the groom’s mother ever involved?” she joked. When she was pressed for more details, and said, “I’m just happy. Just so happy for them.”

Donna made sure not to give anything away, leaving fans and the media to keep guessing about the rumored summer’s big event.

This wasn’t the first time that Donna was approached by TMZ; earlier, too, a photographer had asked her if she had been forced to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to keep her from leaking details about the event.

Donna quickly shut down the idea, stating,

“No, they know I can keep a secret,” she had said. 

Everything taken together, Donna and Kylie’s responses taken together across interviews, podcast appearances, and even paparazzi spottings paint a consistent picture. They are not avoiding the topic because they believe those details belong strictly to Travis and Taylor. And until the couple chooses to share themselves, they have made it clear they are not stepping into the role of spokesperson for their plans.
