Patrick Mahomes’ mom, Randi, has seen it all. She watched a young kid fall in love with sports and turn into a Super Bowl MVP. She also knows that talent alone is not enough. So now she has something to say to every parent in America. She believes there is a right way to support a young athlete and wants to give parents a tool she wishes she had.

Randi built the Sports Parent Academy, a program that teaches parents how to guide young athletes. More importantly, she is now pushing them to use one new feature. She says parents should download “the free recruiting checklist” from the Academy website. It is her way of removing any confusion and giving families a clear start.

“Every year, amazing athletes miss their shot. Not because of talent, but their parents waited too long to start recruiting. I’ve seen it. Talented players, great grades, but no plan. The truth is, recruiting starts way before you think. And if you’re not tracking highlight reels, deadlines, and college connections, you’re already behind. And that’s why the Sports Parent Academy has created the free recruiting checklist…”

According to the Academy bio, it helps families see when the spark fades and rebuild it. It is not just drills and scholarships; it is about balance and trust. It teaches parents to support their child and balance everything else as well. Randi knows what she is talking about.

She pushed all three of her kids toward sports. Patrick Mahomes played baseball and football, then quit football for a time, and later came back. Jackson had the athletic frame but preferred business. Now her focus is on Mia Randall, who plays tennis, basketball, and volleyball in her first year of high school.

So she wants parents across America to use her tool and raise future sports stars. And this is not the first time she has come forward to help.

Patrick Mahomes’ mom launches a new offer for parents

Randi Mahomes knows what parents go through. She lived it while raising a future NFL star for the Chiefs. So on October 24, she went public with news that could help every sports parent.

“We’re making Sports Parent Academy even more accessible with a new price change.”

Right now, the Sports Parent Academy lists $47 per month for the basic plan. The Go Premium plan sits at $97 per month. She has built it for every stage. Back in July, she had mentioned that the program fits toddlers and high school athletes, too. That means no parent feels it’s too early or too late.

But she keeps pushing the message forward, adding, “Your membership doesn’t just give you resources. It gives you direct access to the world’s best coaches in fitness, research, and nutrition. And these are the best experts that are trusted by athletes and families around the country. So if you’ve been thinking about joining, now’s the time.”

According to the SPA website, names like Leigh Steinberg, Dr. Abbey Houde, Anthony Glass, and Dr. Elizabeth Lombardo guide parents through the process. That lineup covers everything from mindset to muscle.

So it shows Randi is moving with purpose and giving parents a better shot at raising the next superstar.
