However, all seems to be well at last, as Thompson, who is a 2023 fifth-round pick, is reported to be in stable condition. The Chiefs had earlier announced the cancellation, citing a “medical emergency at the team facility.

Today’s practice was set to be open to media, however, it was later postponed to Friday. The Chiefs are currently underway in Phase 3 of the voluntary offseason program, with their minicamp set to commence on Jun 11.
