Kyler Murray is ready to take on the NFL

Last year in December, the QB tore his ACL on his right knee against the New England Patriots. Surgery, rehabilitation, and game fitness took almost 11 months. But now that he is ready to participate, he knows that he is needed in the squad. Almost everyone is delighted, including the head coach.

HC Jonathan Gannon put the rumors to rest as he confirmed to the media that Murray will be playing against the Atlanta Falcons. He said, “Honestly, I’m excited for the guy”. Gannon further said, “He wants to be out there with the guys and help his team win. So, that’s what I’m most excited to see”.

Certainly, the Cardinals will not be making it to the playoffs. Their horrid season will at least give them a good spot for the 2024 NFL Draft. As for Murray, he will want to take his team back to their winning ways. His awesome pace and throwing abilities are needed for the Cardinals’ offense. And his playmaking is going to derail the opponents from running at their defense. So the addition of Murray is going to bear fruit.

Will the Cardinals’ struggle end after Murray?

Nothing exemplifies the Cardinals’ season than their last game against the Cleveland Browns. The Cardinals even failed to open the scoring, losing 27-0. Backup QB Clayton Tune is prone to fumbles and lacks the confidence to take on the NFL defenses. Hence the Cardinals rank 28th out of 32 in points per game this season. Theirs being an abysmal 16.8 points per game!

The Cardinals are 1-8 this season and on a 6-game losing streak. Their only win was against the Minnesota Vikings in week 3. With the addition of Murray, the first thing the Cardinals would want is to put an end to this losing streak.
