“Bo Nix is Colorado’s guardian angel.” Someone on social media put out these apt words for the Broncos quarterback. But why would someone say this? We know that Bo Nix has been killing it on the NFL gridiron with his staggering 29 TDs and 3,775 yards (66.3% completion rate) in his rookie season. But how did a discussion about being an angel come about? Well, the answer lies in his latest visit.
This off-season, we’ve seen Nix enjoying holidays with friends and attending NHL games for the Colorado Avalanche, but the young quarterback is also diving into the well-being of the people of America. In his recent visit to Common Spirit Health, it was confirmed that the QB is partnering with them for the ‘health and well-being of those we serve in our communities.’

Common Spirit Health (CSH) announced on Saturday through their Instagram, “We are excited that Common Spirit Health is partnering with Broncos quarterback Bo Nix”. That’s why one fan commented on that post, saying that the Broncos QB is an angel for Colorado. Even though the organization’s headquarters is in Chicago.
CSH, which was founded in 2019, is the largest Catholic hospital chain in the United States, according to various sources. And the most legendary work this health organization does is its non-profit efforts. In fact, according to reports, it is the second-largest non-profit health organization in the country. But Bo Nix’s partnership with this health chain isn’t surprising. The 25-year-old QB has always been part of various health initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of the people of America.
He recently made some unforgettable memories for children with health concerns. Let’s take a look at Bo Nix’s work for the community.

Have you read about Nix’s work with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals? If you haven’t, the following fact is sure to inspire you. In 2023, the Broncos QB teamed up with 7-Eleven, where eight other top QBs also joined to be part of the ‘Cleat Crew. ’ It was an initiative for the well-being of children patients through the auctioning of cleats of all those nine quarterbacks. What a great initiative to donate some funds for children’s health! They ended up raising $13,400. Amazing, right? After that, Nix presented a check to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Dude is blessed! While the amount may seem small, it was a big step for health awareness and many children’s lives.

At that time, 25-year-old Nix said, “It’s really cool to see how much impact people can have on one another and how a simple shoe can go a long way and make such a difference. It’s a joy for my wife, Izzy, and me to be part of something like this.” The most interesting and inspiring part of his community work over the years is that he was also part of children’s health initiatives even before making it to the big leagues. With his wife, he visited PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in April 2024.
