When the Chiefs’ TE wasn’t fulfilled with just conquering the gridiron, he grabbed an acting job in the new horror fiction that is now out for everyone to watch.

Grotesquerie, starring Niecy Nash, was released on Hulu in the United States and is doing well in terms of reviews and ratings. You would have already guessed who else is in the show by now. Turns out, even Momma Kelce watched the show to support her younger son.

Niecy Nash was at a recent Chiefs game to support her now co-star. She ran into Donna Kelce, Travis’ enthusiastic mother, who gave her honest opinion on the show. “I was really impressed, but I thought Niecy, actually, she did a great job,” said Donna when asked to talk about her son’s acting in the show. This wasn’t all. She also added, “It was almost surreal. He seemed like he was kinda like in a cloud. I don’t really know how to explain that.”

Even Niecy couldn’t believe Travis Kelce’s acting prowess. She immediately replied to Momma Kelce that Travis was giving “movie star vibes“. He used this analogy to justify why Donna had trouble explaining her son’s surreal performance. She might also have been shocked to see her son have a natural zest for acting despite being bad in the kitchen.

For now, we know that the 34-year-old is playing the role of a charming bed nurse in the new FX series. Whether he will have a bigger role in the comprehensive plot remains a mystery. However, his mother was not going to let that come between her and her support.

Apart from her charming words, Donna also pulled through as a mother and ‘showed up’ at the premiere of the ominous show, even though Travis Kelce was not going to be there. All of Chiefs Kingdom knows how many times the star TE’s mother has been there to watch his games and support him publicly. This time, she outdid herself.

Even though Travis couldn’t make it to the red carpet opening, his mom ensured she would pull up in style and not miss a chance to dazzle the media. After watching what her son is capable of, with and without a football jersey, Donna must have been immensely proud. Well, it appears so in the way she voiced her opinion of the show.
