It has only been 14 days since we saw the former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who, over the years, kept “the main thing the main thing,” publicly getting sidelined due to personal life drama. The now UNC football HC was supposed to talk with CBS’ Tony Dokoupil about his maiden book ‘The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football’ but the interview turned into what many call “a soap opera” when his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson brought out her own rulebook. The barely 40-minute chat, where Bill’s “expectation was not honored,” turned into a spiraling tornado that continued for days. And the damage it left? Well, let’s say the aftershocks are still felt, especially in the Belichick family.

Earlier this month, the Front Office Sports released an exclusive story where many “NFL pundits have asked how Bill Belichick could put his legacy in the hands of his 24-year-old girlfriend.” The reason that crept up was the absence of his former PR guy Berj Najarian who left him when the 6x Super Bowl Championship winning HC moved out of Foxborough. But since then, the same question has echoed more and more. It reached a point where details of how Hudson made all UNC-related emails get CCed to her came out and then some reports hinted on some of the program’s decisions being made through her. But it didn’t end there.

Last week, ex-ESPN journalist Pablo Torre reported on his podcast “Pablo Torre Finds Out” that Jordon was “banned from the team facility.” However, UNC released a statement clarifying “While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina football facilities… Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina football and the university.” But seemingly, the sparks of controversy have turned into wildfire now with Bill’s videos making rounds, and Torre has returned to reveal what the Belichick family feels about it all.

On Thursday, Pablo Torre joined Toucher & Hardy to discuss his findings on Bill and Jordon when he spilled the drawing room intel. When the host asked, “This leads us to the family. Obviously, there has to be a concern there among the family. What have you been hearing?” Torre revealed, “They are panicked that the thing that their family has built, that he has built as the patriarch of this family, the Logan Roy of their succession story, that it’s being incinerated by a 24-year-old who doesn’t know what she’s doing. They are freaked out.

“I mean look, as a human level concern, imagine it. Like ‘Your 70-year-old dad shows up on a leaked ring-came video? Shirtless? It’s an incredible artifact… It’s the thing that (Tom) Brady made fun of at his roast, it’s the thing that everybody has now known about. But imagine if you’re one of the Belichicks family members. It’s (my first instinct) how many other videos are out there like this and he has no idea of being filmed? Who leaked this? How did this get out?”

Hill and Wilder took to their podcast to add a new intrigue to the never-ending Jordon Hudson gossip. The couple has weathered a lot of outside storms, hand in hand, before, but this time, the analysts gave away her cryptic link with Belichick’s ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday, who has dated the UNC head coach for over 16 years before parting ways.

“We’re looking at [Anne Baldridge’s (2024 Miss Maine winner)] Instagram, and she had posted that her grandmother had passed away,” said Charlotte Wilder. “Linda Holliday had commented on [the] post and said, ‘I’m so sorry, Anne. I’m so sorry for your loss.’ [or] something along those lines. She also follows the Miss Maine pageant [on IG]. And so I feel like Linda probably had a connection to this world,” she added.

This doesn’t imply anything specific about their relationship, but the world is really small. Don’t be shocked if you get to see the two women end up gracing the Miss Maine stage together someday. Until then, let’s wait on another update from Torre.
