Norfolk State has welcomed their new head coach, Michael Vick, with a bash. On Monday, when Vick walked on the stage for his inaugural speech, the crowd gave him a warm ovation, marking the craze of a former NFL quarterback in the program. Vick has an incredible experience of 15 seasons in the NFL and would possibly bring it all to his new home, this time as a head coach, the ultimate mentor of the players under the role.

Expect a huge turnaround from a 4-8 season in 2025. It would also not be an overstatement to hope for a stronger, healthier team culture with a better plan and direction. So, the Norfolk State players have a lot on their plate and can no longer sleep on their potential. On the other hand, the players have their lookout as well.
