Kirk Herbstreit finds himself with another tough schedule this season. This time, the sports commentator will be tasked to cover all his ESPN-Amazon duties in what seems to be his toughest broadcasting gig yet. Unfortunately for Kirk, this would mean that he would miss out on a much-needed holiday break.

Yes, that’s right. Kirk Herbstreit is expected to miss his Halloween week holidays after it was confirmed that he was part of the ABC broadcast team traveling to Neyland. He would be joined by Chris Fowler and Holly Rowe to cover the Oklahoma-Tennessee game. This means Kirk will put on a triple shift this week, an impressive but worrying fact.

As one of the most recognizable faces on ESPN and Prime, Kirk Herbstreit gets football responsibilities left, right, and center. And this week is totally packed for Kirk, much to his dismay. Before turning up at the Tennessee game, Kirk will be showing his presence at Miami and then Utah.

On Thursday, he will travel to Miami to cover the Dolphins-Ravens game as part of Amazon NFL duties. After completing his Prime duties, he will have little time to rest before leaving for Salt Lake City, Utah. The College Gameday crew will be hosting a Big 12 clash between Utah and Cincinnati. That is an approximate travel of 2500 miles. This is not easy, especially traveling around the country without much rest. And that is not even the most shocking part of Kirk’s week.

The shocking thing is that he has to travel to Knoxville on the same day to cover the Tennessee-Oklahoma game. He will be the analyst at the game, and with such a banger of a match, it was only smart thinking that Kirk had to be a part of it. This would mean an additional travel of 1800 miles! So, this week Kirk has to travel around 4300 miles in 72 hours. This speaks volumes about Kirk’s determination to deliver whenever needed. He even sacrifices Halloween, which he will not get to enjoy fully since it is on a Friday.

But this is not the first time that Kirk Herbstreit has had to endure a tiring week.

Kirk Herbstreit continues to show he is not a mere human

Kirk Herbstreit has made a habit of pulling off the impossible. Earlier this month, Kirk traveled around 5400 miles in just 96 hours. He juggled between Amazon Prime, GameDay on Saturday morning, and covered Oklahoma vs. Texas later. That is a hustle, to put it lightly.

Last week, however, he got a breather as GameDay and the Georgia-Ole Miss game were stationed in Athens. That meant he had to travel less, which he would’ve appreciated.

Now, he daringly attempts another tight schedule, which is something not a lot of people can do. It just goes on to showcase his dedication and hard work towards his job.

With ESPN squeezing out every bit of his strength, we haven’t seen him complain once. For him, it’s just Monday.
