Not every ending is meant to be happy, right? Well, this is something that the Boise State Broncos RB Ashton Jeanty has made peace with. After all, his Heisman dream did not come true. He had to witness Colorado Buffaloes dual-threat Travis Hunter snatching away the bronze trophy. Sadly, Jeanty had no other option than to move on. Things might have been easier for the RB since he has the biggest supporter who has been beside him through thick and thin. His ladylove Gabrielle Miller, who posted an inspiring note on IG.

Things definitely have been tough for the Boise State fans. After all, they have pinned high hopes on the RB for landing the much-awaited Heisman Award. The 2024 season started off as Jeanty’s year as the RB put together one of the best seasons by a running back in college football history. His stats did all the talking as he rushed for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns. That accounted for the second most in a season behind legendary Barry Sanders’ 2,628 yard record for Oklahoma State back in 1988. Even though life refused to give Jeanty what he wished for, life made up for the loss in some other way.

It gifted the RB his biggest supporter, his girlfriend, Miller. Right now she has to be his full-time hype woman. She is already a pro at performing her duties.

On January 7, Tuesday, Jeanty revealed what’s next for him. He declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. A part of the note read, “I’m excited to announce I am declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. The opportunity to play in the NFL is a dream of mine, And I’m proud to represent Boise State and all of those who have helped me along the way at the next level.” Now this must be really overwhelming for Jeanty to step into the NFL. But Miller knows the right way to ward off all the worries. Resharing her beau’s post, Miller dropped a seven-word motivating message, “Bouta go crazy on the next level 🤍!!”

The NFL mock draft analyst must be waiting for Jeanty to declare his next big move. And as soon as the news dropped, it sparked buzz. So what’s next for Jeanty? It’s the Dallas Cowboys.

Ashton Jeanty is a hot commodity in the latest mock drafts

At 21, Jeanty still had one more season of eligibility with the Broncos. Carrying such an impressive resume with him along with the tag of the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season, it’s obvious that the NFL spotlight would be on him. So, what intrigued Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys?

Well, the program is in dire need of a ton of talent and depth when it comes to the RB position. Even though their RB Rico Dowdle was surprisingly solid in a workhorse role in 2024, Jeanty is likely to further bolster the position. As per the speculations, the Boise State RB may be best suited for a 1B to 1A role. It’s not that the Cowboys are the only program where the talented young chap has been mocked.

As per CBS Sports Ryan Wilson, Ashton Jeanty can be landing with the Houston Texans (19th overall). In that case, it would make up a formidable pair with Joe Mixon. While CBS Sports Josh Edwards has some other theory. The analyst sees the Boise State RB to land with the Denver Broncos. No matter where he lands, Gabrielle Miller is happy to see him soar high.
