Where will Lucy Olsen likely land in the 2025 WNBA draft?

1. Indiana Fever

Fever has unarguably built one of the most compelling rosters this offseason. However, the team lacks good secondary scorers and boards that can support the young nucleus. Besides, the team could largely benefit from her court vision as well as the ability to create shots, which can fit well into Indiana’s fast-paced offense. Plus, it would be exciting to see her share space with stars like Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark.

2. Chicago Sky

Olsen has been a pure scorer, shooting 36% from beyond the arc. Though Ariel Atkins and Courtney Vandersloot are already set to take care of the backcourt, the Hawkeye guard could add to the depth. Plus, the frontcourt bigs’ struggles are well-known with regard to the shooting. Further in need of a high IQ playmaker, the Sky could see Olsen quickly grow into a crucial role.

3. Los Angeles Sparks

Rebuilding its image, LA Sparks is hungry for young players who can act as reliable backcourt contributors for the team. Isn’t this the perfect opportunity for Olsen? The 2021 Miss Pennsylvania Basketball’s has a very high game IQ that helps to make quick on-court decisions. When coupled with her swift passing skills, Olsen aligns completely with the Sparks’ needs at the guard position.
