“He’s truly an outstanding student. The stereotype of the superstar college prospect might suggest that academics take second place to athletes or the keeping of a more exclusive friend group, but I only saw Caleb do the exact opposite. He was kind to and included everyone and always stayed on top of his work,” voiced one of his teachers, Marshal White. Wilson not only wants to become the best athlete he can be but also the best human. Let’s understand more about his background, including his ethnicity, religion, and birthplace.

Caleb Wilson was born to Jerry and Sabrina Wilson on July 18, 2006. Both played basketball in high school and Jerry played for a year in college. That explains Wilson’s talent. He has a sister as well. He is ethnically African American and is a member of the Black Student Union at HIES. With regard to his religion, Caleb Wilson is very likely Christian.
After he was named All-American, Wilson quoted the announcement by writing, “Thank You God!” To which his mother, Sabrina Wilson, replied by referring to a Bible verse, “Grateful 8! We love you and are so proud of YOU! Rafters it is! Proverbs 18:21. Your words create your reality.” Wilson later retweeted that, showing that he is also a religious person to some extent.

Wilson also wants to help his city and its residents in the future. “I thought about housing projects, because at this point a lot of people are having trouble with getting houses and staying in them,” Wilson has said. “There have been a lot of evictions, especially here in Atlanta.
