“She’s very selfless, very genuine. She just wants us to be great. It’s great to see when you have a point guard like that. You want to run through a brick wall for her” said Te-Hina Paopao once about Raven Johnson. Not everyone gets this level of praise from a teammate who has been with them for 2 full seasons. Then again, not everyone is Raven Johnson. Her contributions are not seen in scoring, as Raven averaged 5.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists during the recent college season. However, in a star-filled roster consisting of Tessa Johnson, Chloe Kitts, and Ashlyn Watkins, Johnson stands out thanks to her ability to reportedly orchestrate coach Dawn Staley’s offense.

Having torn her ACL as a freshman, Johnson was given a medical redshirt year. This means that the ongoing NCAA tournament may be her last. Therefore, it will be the tournament in which she might give her all. In light of this, there is no better time than now to learn more about this South Carolina Gamecocks star.

That means a lot to me.” According to reports, Parfait co-founder and CEO Isoken Igbinedion was a huge fan of Johnson. Plus, it helped that the college player “is all Igbinedion’s little sisters can talk about”.
