NCAA Basketball action will continue when two major rivals meet up on an action-packed Saturday slate. The #6 ranked Virginia Cavaliers will take on the #20 ranked Virginia Tech Hokies. Both teams are having great seasons and would love a win like this to hold bragging rights over the other.

The Virginia Cavaliers are the presumed favorites heading into this game. They have an 11-2 record, with their two losses coming against the Gonzaga Bulldogs and the San Francisco Dons. They are currently on a seven-game winning streak and will look to ride that momentum into this game.

The Hokies have a record of 12-3 and have had shakier moments than the Cavaliers. While the Cavs did lose to the Dons, that was a meaningless early season game. The Hokies lost to unranked Syracuse just one week ago. They also had a 20-point loss at the hands of Penn State in December.

They have been unstoppable ever since their blowout loss at the hands of the Bulldogs in December. While they are ranked 6th in the country, the Cavs still have to prove that they are still title contenders.

The Hokies may not still be running on the high of their early season win over the Villanova Wildcats, but they are looking to slay a proverbial giant here. However, can their guard-heavy fast-paced approach overcome the slow and calculating play of the Cavaliers?
