Kenny Payne’s a great human being and I’m not taking away from that. That all being said you’re Louisville man like I understand Cal gave the endorsement I understand all this I understand the ad hired him, it’s not good enough.”

Taking up his confusion about Louisville’s decision, he said, “Louisville’s a national championship level program. It has been a top 10 to 15 and I’m being very lowball right now, saying top to 10 to 15. It has the support, it has boosters, it has NIL money. You have everything you need, and you are still struggling this mightily. And not only that, you’re talking about how you can’t even compare your program to Kentucky with what they have! You’re Louisville. That’s what you’re supposed to do? How could you not try to raise the bar at Louisville to that level because the NIL’s there the support’s there.”
