The team will travel, albeit not far, to face No. 20 USC at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday. In the opening week of the season, the Trojans won both of their games.

They defeated Kansas State 82-69 at home in their season opener. As a result, they defeated Cal State Bakersfield by a score of 85-59. One of the greatest backcourts in the country is led by Isaiah Collier and Boogie Ellis. The two teams must diverge from their path in their most recent meeting.

However, the Tuesday matchup flips the script when Boogie Ellis is unavailable and the whole burden is placed on Isaiah Collier. Bronny James’ squad is allegedly struggling to maintain a lead as Irvine wins the game by a score of 57-49 at the end of the third quarter.

While Isaiah Collier produced a respectable 20 points, the overall team performance is less encouraging. On the other hand, UC had the greatest winning percentage with Justin Hon leading the game with 23 points, causing the dismay of Trojans and leading to a crushing loss.
