It’s WNBA offseason time, and Caitlin Clark is making the most of her break. Recently, she was spotted at The Grove XXIII, Michael Jordan’s exclusive, invite-only golf club, looking right at home among the pros. Her love for golf is no secret. Fans still remember last year’s Annika Pro-Am tournament, where one of her stray shots went viral after accidentally hitting a spectator. And yes, she’s set to return to the same event on November 12. But before she gets back on the greens, it looks like Caitlin’s been busy helping her boyfriend out with some basketball business!

In a post shared by Basketball Hall of Famer Chari Nordgaard Knueppel on X, she revealed that she and her son, Kager Knueppel, were on an official visit to Butler University as he weighs his college options. And guess who was there to help them get familiar with the campus? None other than Caitlin Clark herself.

Kager Knueppel is the second-oldest of the five Knueppel brothers, and we all know that basketball clearly runs in the family. His older brother, Kon Knueppel, has already made a name for himself in the NBA, becoming a key player for the Charlotte Hornets and recently dropping a career-high 30 points.

Both brothers were standouts at Wisconsin Lutheran High School, leading the team to a perfect 30–0 season before Kon departed for Duke as a five-star recruit. Now it’s Kager’s turn to make his mark. Part of the Class of 2027, Kager has already drawn attention from several top programs, receiving offers from Marquette, Syracuse, Bradley, Western Michigan, New Mexico State, BYU, and Notre Dame.

While we wait to see if Duke joins the mix, it looks like Connor McCaffery and Butler are making a strong push to land the talented four-star forward. Kager Knueppel put up impressive numbers during the 2024–25 season, averaging 13.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists over 30 games with the Lancers, while shooting 54.5% from the field and 37.2% from beyond the arc. He could be their next Gordon Hayward!

For a basketball program like Butler, trying to recapture the magic of its early 2000s glory days, when the Bulldogs were perennial contenders, landing a talent like Kager Knueppel could be a massive win. The team hasn’t made a Big Dance appearance since 2018, and bringing in a rising four-star prospect might just be the missing piece they were looking for.

And getting a little help from Caitlin Clark in the recruiting process? That could turn out to be a masterstroke. No one knows where the younger Knueppel will eventually land, but it’s safe to say Butler has put itself firmly in the conversation.

Moving on to Caitlin Clark, even though she put golf on hold for a while to help her boyfriend with recruiting, her social media tells a different story.

Caitlin Clark corrects Sophie Cunningham!

Ahead of Caitlin Clark’s appearance at next week’s Annika LPGA Pro-Am, it looks like she’s bringing some familiar faces along for the ride! The organizers announced that Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull will be serving as celebrity caddies for the Fever star at the November 12 event, and Cunningham couldn’t hide her excitement.

Cunningham celebrated the announcement by reposting it to her Instagram Story with the caption, “Four!!!!” — though what she meant to say was “Fore!”, the warning golfers shout when a ball goes off target to alert people nearby. Of course, Caitlin Clark wasn’t going to let that little mistake slide. She jumped into the comments, replying, “It’s fore, bud @sophie_cham,” turning the mix-up into a hilarious exchange that had fans cracking up online.

No one’s quite sure if the Tres Leches trio will stick together with the Fever next season. With question marks still hanging over the futures of Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham, their time as teammates might be coming to an end. But for now, fans can sit back and enjoy seeing them together again!
