LeBron James has just expanded his legacy by booking his tenth NBA finals ticket. The King now has more appearances in the finals than 27 other teams! While he keeps proving his greatness, there’s a set of people who despise LeBron and loathe him by taking shots at his dominance in the league.

The most prominent retired NBA star who often takes shots at the 4-time MVP is Paul Pierce. We’ve seen him doing it in the past, and he still prolongs it. Why does Pierce do it? There’s not really an answer as ‘The Truth’ is just bringing out his opinion.

As the Lakers were leading their WCF series against the Nuggets, Paul Pierce made a rather controversial statement about LeBron. “Players today are scared of LeBron,” Pierce said.

“If they see LeBron standing in front of them, fear shakes in them. I know this. My era is out the league, we weren’t afraid of LeBron. But these guys today, he strikes fear into these guys.”

We all know Paul Pierce is one tough guy, but is any deep hatred lingering on his mind for him to be making these statements? One can admit that LeBron is certainly an intimidating presence on the court, but that doesn’t mean his opponents let him ease his way into victory!

Draymond Green defends LeBron James and fires back at Paul Pierce

Even though Draymond and LeBron are fierce competitors, they share a mutual respect between them. After looking at Pierce’s comments on Bron, Draymond Green couldn’t hide the urge to respond.

After Giannis Antetokounmpo won the 2020 MVP award, Green was one among the many who felt LeBron James deserved to win it this year. “If you’re starting a franchise or if you’re picking a player to say, ‘Go get me a championship,’ you’re picking LeBron James,” Green mentioned, to assert his support for James.
