Can Skip Bayless ever miss out on taking shots at the Lakers? Doesn’t seem like it. There is not a single aspect of the Lakers that Bayless doesn’t criticize. Naturally, he would move on and take shots at their coach.

The Los Angeles Lakers are en route to the Eastern Conference Finals. They are battling the dominant Houston Rockets in the Semi-Finals to get there. They seem to be doing pretty well as they are at a 2-1 lead. The LeBron James and Anthony Davis duo have been a sight for sore eyes.

Also, with their point guard Rajon Rondo back, it looks like they have found a groove they didn’t have before. However, there is something else that coach Frank Vogel is more worried about.

Are the Lakers exaggerating over the game timing issues?

Recently, Coach Frank Vogel discussed issues about the scheduling of the games. He explained that because the match starts around 9:00 pm, by the time the players make it back to the hotel it gets late, which leads to them sleep at irregular times. This hampers with the players’ energies and impacts their scheduled game the next day. He was also seen talking about his own sleep schedule and that he isn’t able to sleep before 3 or 4 am.

This was caught by their favorite critic, and he didn’t miss the chance to ridicule them. On Undisputed, Bayless started off blatantly and shot, “What a bunch of spoiled brat whiners are the Los Angeles Lakers? What a bunch of hard to digest bellyachers.” He questioned Shannon Sharpe, “What are you doing? How could you remotely try to defend all these remarks? Starting with Franky V? He’s actually lucky to have this job, and he’s complaining.”

The callouts increased with Bayless mimicking Vogel in a weepy tone and quoted, “I don’t get to go to sleep until it’s somewhere between 3 and 4.”  He continued, “Who cares? Nobody cares!”

Skip Bayless is all for the Clippers

If this wasn’t enough, Bayless is already bashing them for how they will be if they play the Clippers in the Western Conference Finals. The Clippers are currently leading 3-1 against the Denver Nuggets and are most likely to advance to the finals. If the Lakers win their matchup against the Rockets, they will be up against the Clippers.

“This is why the Clippers are going to eliminate the Lakers. The Clippers are the mentally, physically tougher team, they don’t complain about squat.” asserted Skip. “They look at the schedule and if it says 9 Eastern or 9:30 Eastern, they just go play. You don’t hear a peep out of the Clippers because they’re off the radar. They just do it with their performance and they let that lay.”

Do you think Bayless is fair to comment on Vogel’s views?
