Then came the loss of our on-screen hero, Chadwick Boseman. The actor best known for his Black Panther persona in the hit Marvel superhero franchise.

Boseman had been diagnosed with colon cancer 4 years before his passing, but this information was not known to the public. However, his passing was mourned all over the world and by everyone, just like that of Bryant.

They are the ‘Gone but never forgotten’. The Los Angeles Lakers even paid tribute to their franchise’s legend by winning another championship last season.

Throughout their playoff run, they found ways to keep him alive. Either by wearing his ‘Mamba Jersey’s or even replicating his buzzer-beater by Anthony Davis.

The reason the world is still mourning is because of the impact these two have had on everyone and continue to do so. They have been an inspiration for many people and this includes actor, Michael B. Jordan.

The impact of Kobe Bryant

The 33-year-old actor opened up about wanting to create a legacy like his heroes, Kobe Bryant and Chadwick Boseman. He talked about their deaths and said, “You always look at your own mortality after something like that.

“To see the impact that they’ve had on people in this world, it’s truly incredible. I think they really changed people and really impacted how other people lived their lives.

“And that’s one of the biggest honours you can have because somebody is really swaying who they are and how they approach this game of life due to another person, and what they achieved, accomplished and went through.”

Michael explained, “I’ve always wanted to leave behind something that would last longer than my physical body would, whatever it is. Real impact.”

Just like everyone, these two heroes have given Jordan a lot to think about. It is heartwarming to see how much he looks up to Kobe and wants to emulate his ways into his own life.
