The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat are battling it out in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Being down 1-3, the Heat look like they are on a mission to come back. But LeBron James is denying them every opportunity almost single-handedly.

He has been too hot to handle for the Heat and has 33 points off 13/16 shooting already. With this, he joins Jerry West as the only players to score over 1500 points in the NBA Finals.

In his 10th Finals appearance now, LeBron looks as dangerous as ever and has been torching the Heat defense. An average three-point shooter in his career, tonight he has been in blistering form scoring 6/8 from downtown. Along with the scoring, he also has been dishing out dimes and has five assists already.

Can LeBron James lead the Lakers to the title tonight?

No one on the Lakers wants to win as badly as LeBron wants to. Eager to improve his 3-6 record, he is giving his best. Every time the Heat threatens to run away with a lead, Bron fight to cut the deficit.

Anthony Davis is doing his part too. The Brow has 26 points, 11 rebounds so far, and has shot 8/13 from the field. He has been a defensive menace, as always, with three steals and two blocks till now.

But the rest of the team is struggling. Kyle Kuzma is currently shooting 3/10 from the field, Rajon Rondo is 1/7 and Markieff Morris is 0/2. The Lakers cannot win with just two players showing some fight. They are one win away from a championship, but that isn’t motivating some of these players.

The Lakers look clueless on defense and have allowed Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson to run riot. Butler is currently 9/16 from the field and has been giving them problems all night. Robinson has been a flamethrower from deep and is currently shooting 6/12 from the three-point line.

The Lakers need to show more heart if they want to come away with a win. LeBron is doing his best, but he needs help from his teammates.
