After a terrible second-half performance, the Los Angeles Lakers succumbed to defeat against the Golden State Warriors. They had multiple turnovers in the end, including a few controversial calls, that left Lakers star LeBron James annoyed.

LeBron had two traveling turnovers in the final four minutes, both of which were costly for the Lakers and contributed to their defeat. During the post-game interview, he expressed his displeasure regarding the officiating.
He said, “I saw them on the replays, and that’s a move I’ve been making my whole career. It’s funny, Draymond comes down and slides his foot and it doesn’t get called a travel by the same official that called me for a travel.”

Can LeBron James help the Lakers bounce back?
LeBron ended the game with 5 turnovers. But more than those silly errors, his poor shooting was the main reason for the loss. He shot 6-16 from the field, 2-7 from three, and 5-8 from the free-throw line. Finally, he also missed the final shot, which would have won the game for the Lakers. As the leader of the team, he fell short in multiple departments.

But along with him, Anthony Davis had a stinker as well. He also shot 6-16 and was nowhere to be seen, especially in the second half. The Lakers led 64-48 after the first half, but completely switched off in the second.
The only positives for them from the game were the performances of Kyle Kuzma and Dennis Schroder. But the German struggled with shooting too, going 1-5. Montrezl Harrell did his bit, putting up an extremely efficient 17 points and eight rebounds.

The Lakers are now up against the Bucks next, and they have to step up. They couldn’t contain the Warriors tonight, and the Bucks will punish them if they cannot improve. It is also a big game for the Bucks, who are also coming off a loss against the Nets. I will be a battle of two contenders who are eager to get back to winning ways, so it will definitely be one to watch.
