Former NBA star-turned-analyst Matt Barnes seems to be battling alone. After his recent hot response to basketball agent Gina Paradiso related to a game between Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever and Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky, the 44-year-old once again made a bold threat on social media. And this time, he got Reese involved too. The retired NBA player openly threatened to reveal one secret about Paradiso that involves Reese. This came after netizens called him out for his harsh message criticizing Paradiso.

In an urge to defend himself, Barnes also shared a chat screenshot that backed his previous claims. Interestingly, the chat showed the other side supporting Barnes for revealing the truth. Furthermore, in the chat, the analyst seemed to threaten that he would reveal how Paradiso allegedly said certain questionable things about Angel Reese. Barnes even went as far as to call Paradiso a “snake.” 

“For all of you that seems to have an issue with my tweet to @ginaparadiso know what you’re reacting too b4 you react.. She’s a snake that is very disrespectful & talks shit behind everyone’s back,” Barnes wrote on X. Here is the post that shows the chat along with Barnes’ brutal message. 

The X battle began with Paradiso’s comment, which seemingly appeared to be attacking all the male podcasts after Barnes commented on how there’s a lack of support for Caitlin from her teammates.

During the Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky game, Clark was pushed to the floor by Chennedy Carter. Matt Barnes’ comment came in support of Clark. Not just Barnes but there were numerous who had the same concern with Clark’s teammates not supporting the rookie.

While Paradiso wrote, “Male podcasters and women’s basketball. I guess we’re here now,” Barnes mercilessly made a verbal attack against her. Barnes penned a message on X asking Paradiso to stop with her criticism. The former Golden State Warriors player even claimed that he helped Paradiso get a job at CAA.

“Humble yourself Gina. Don’t forget where you started. Nobody knew you b4 stak hired you & I got you a job at CAA.. You rep a couple big women in the W now, & you think you doin something. #YouStillAintS**t,” Barnes wrote.

While it seemed that Paradiso was throwing shade at the male podcasters in her defense, no names were mentioned. And this is exactly the reason why fans weren’t happy with Barnes’ comment. After his comment on Reese and Paradiso, he once again clarified his intention pointing out Gina’s silence on the matter.
