It’s hard to beat fans when it comes to creativity. Avid fans have the most bizarre requests for celebrity idols. Similarly, former NBA star Dwight Howard almost got himself into a tricky place. Howard, who is already a father of 5 kids, was close to adding another member to his family during his World Smile Tour. The 38-year-old shared the hilarious encounter on his Instagram handle.

A young fan wanted Howard to sign on his adoption certificate. Quite an unusual request and worse, he almost signed it. While the certificate is usually not legally binding, it sometimes puts the celebrity or player in a tough spot. One of the instances is when F1 Driver Charles Leclerc refused to sign on a marriage certificate presented by a fan.

In the clip, the 8x All-Star and 3x Defensive Player of the Year showed the fan and the adoption certificate. Howard had a hilarious caption for the post. The caption read, I got enough kids 😂😂😂 crazy I almost signed it.”

Howard is a doting father to five kids: Braylon, Jayde, Layla, David, and Dwight III,(Trey). Apart from basketball, the former Los Angeles Lakers star ensures to co-parent his kids. There were previously rumors suggesting he has eight children, however, Howard has maintained that he has five. This odd incident was from his World Smile Tour.

Dwight Howard’s international travels

The Orlando Magic great visited the first stoppage of the tour in the Philippines. Earlier this year in January, he announced his participation in the World Smile Tour with an Instagram carousel post of numerous pictures. Howard has always expressed his love for Filipino fans. This was also the reason why he played for a team in the Philippines. After his stint in Taiwan, he joined the Philippine team Strong Group and played at the Dubai International Basketball Championship mini-tournament.

Later, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Howard wrote on Instagram, “Stand Strong my Pinoy People 🇵🇭 We gave it our all and left it all on the court! Blood! Sweat! Tears! Injuries! We fought to the end! Thank you for letting me represent your country 🙏🏾🇵🇭🙏🏾,”

Last year, there were rumors of him making a comeback in the NBA with the Golden State Warriors. However, the team decided to forge ahead without the former NBA champion. Currently, he still has hopes to make a return and so do the fans.
