Victor Wembanyama projects Looney Tunes-esque Jordan

At only 19, the Frenchman is proving he’s a force to be reckoned with. Victor Wembanyama is not only a scoring machine for the San Antonio Spurs, he’s also artistic at it. Someone else who was art in motion was Michael Jordan. Wemby is often compared to His Airness and his recent game spurred it further.

When the Spurs went up against the Miami Heat last week, Wembanyama dominated the game. He scored 23 points as Miami was bested 120-104. The highlight was when he pulled a poster dunk over Thomas Bryant. The still from that moment left everyone in awe of the teen.

As one social media post put it, “Wemby isn’t real.” His form and physique were so otherworldly, fans felt it was unreal enough to fit in the Looney Tunes world. Specifically, they were reminded of the final buzzer-beater of Space Jam. Even Bryant was left stupefied after being on the opposite side of that dunk.
