Michael Jordan dominated the league for almost his entire career. In fact, in the 1990s, MJ and the Chicago Bulls won six NBA Championships. However, after winning his sixth ring, Jordan retired for the second time in his career.

While Jordan made it pretty clear that he won’t play under any coach other than Phil Jackson, MJ returned to the league for two more seasons. In the last two seasons of his career, Michael Jordan was a member of the Washington Wizards.

However, unlike his stint with the Bulls, he couldn’t win any championships for the franchise. After all, he was getting old and didn’t have the same flair to his game anymore. Finally, Jordan hung his sneakers in the 2002-03 season.

The NBA showed their respect to him by naming him an NBA All-Star for his final season as well.

Zach LaVine on the last All-Star game of Michael Jordan

After making his debut for the NBA All-Star team, Bulls’ Zach LaVine joined “All The Smoke” podcast for an interview. During the interview, he was asked about his favorite All-Star moment, to which he replied:

“I remember vividly sitting in front of the TV in Mike’s All-Star game. You know, him and Kobe [Bryant] going back and forth & then Mike hitting the baseline jumper. … I remember watching that, just literally sitting in front of the TV man.”

During his career, LaVine has watched the NBA All-Star game numerous times from the sidelines. But this time around, he will finally get a chance to show his talent as well. However, the main goal for LaVine and the Bulls must be to make a return to the playoffs.

Right now, Zach is the best player on the Bulls squad, but considering the competition in the league, he might not be able to bring a title to Chicago just yet. No offense to LaVine’s game, but the Bulls need to add more pieces around their star in order to win a title.
