Kobe was once teased by Chris Duhon regarding his triple-doubles while mentioning LeBron. During that time, James was racking up triple-doubles as if it was nothing and Kobe took it personally. He let his performances do the talking as Bryant shut Duhon up once and for all.

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are two of the greatest players the NBA has ever seen. While Kobe has five NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron has four titles with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and the Lakers.

Interestingly enough, Kobe was once ridiculed by a teammate while the latter praised LeBron. Chris Duhon, a former Lakers star said, “Sh*t, your a** ain’t ever gonna get one of them [triple-doubles]. Your a** don’t pass.”

Kobe replied, “Alright. I’ll bet you $5000 I’ll get a triple-double next game. If I wanted to I could get a triple-double every game.”

This bet turned out to be very costly for Duhon. In the very next game, Kobe was one assist and rebound away from a triple-double at the end of the first half!

Who has more triple-doubles between LeBron and Kobe?

Although Kobe might have more titles than LeBron, the latter beats him when it comes to triple-doubles. LeBron has a whopping 105 triple-doubles to his name.
