Curry explained, “You don’t find me ugly crying on the court for no reason. The raw emotion that came out after Game 6 kind of signaled how much this meant to me, how much this meant to our team.”

The first one, you don’t really know what you’re doing until you accomplish it and then you’re celebrating. The next two were kind of validation for trying to remain champions. But after these last three years and winning, definitely the most special,” he added.

In the era of KD, the Warriors had redemption on their minds. 2016 was probably one of the most humiliating moments in franchise history. Hence, having a four-time scoring champion turned out perfect for asserting themselves as the best team. However, post-Durant, the Warriors fell off. And it was up to Stephen Curry and his teammates to build them back up. After analysts wrote off the only unanimous MVP, Curry answered with a bang. The rise back to the top was finally complete.
