Seven years after the legendary night fans find themselves heavy-hearted and missing the Lakers star. The final game was noteworthy of his 20-season-long career in the league. A fan even called it their “yearly cry anniversary.”

The 18-time NBA All-Star had earned the respect of all of his fellow players in the league and his jersey numbers 8 and 24 too were retired by the Lakers after his demise.

Bryant’s dunking contest against LeBron James
A couple of months ago during the All-Star weekend, fans globally were enraged by an unusual news report about Bryant and James. The report revealed that the two players were once offered a million dollars each to engage in a dunking contest during the All-Star weekend but both declined the offer.
