LeBron James is looking forward to the upcoming series “Winning Time.”

In this limited series, there will be ten episodes. It is based on Jeff Pearlman’s book: “Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s.”

Magic Johnson, whose craze over the audience was unbeatable, plays a central role in the documentary as it revolves around the late Lakers owner Jerry Buss.

The show covers both the personal and professional lives of those associated with the Lakers back in the day. The tagline for the series goes: one of the sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties — a team that defined its era, both on and off the court.

James‘ excitement for this project may come as a surprise to some people. The series has not appeased the NBA as well as the other people who have been associated with the Lakers. The following statement appears in Matthew Belloni’s article on Monday:

And it’s absolutely true that the Buss family, the Lakers leadership, its ’80s-era players, and the NBA, in general, all absolutely hate this show,” Belloni wrote.
