In a trade, the Los Angeles Lakers acquired Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards while losing Kyle Kuzma. However, it didn’t work so well for the Lakers as compared to both players’ performance, Kuzma has stepped over his game, causing the Lakers to regret the trade. As for comparing him to Westbrook, it hasn’t worked out as planned for the Lakers since Westbrook’s performance is deteriorating with each game.
In another proof of his improvement, Kyle made a historic 27-point and 22-rebound double-double in the midst of a career-high scoring run. Kendrick Perkins talked about his crazy fashion sense and also emphasized his great play on the court on Twitter, stating:

During his performance, we saw Perkins commend Kyle’s growth and how much he’s improved. Fans also commented following that, praising Kyle’s performance and making a point about how the Lakers made a bad decision trading him to Washington. Then another comment about how Perkins, at first, was trolling him but changed his decision later.

Over the past few weeks, he has shown tremendous performance for the team as he has averaged 25.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. In view of his improvement, there is no doubt he will be in the conversation for MVP in a few weeks.
