The two teams can’t seem to get enough of each other! After the Los Angeles Lakers began their five-game home run by hosting the Denver Nuggets, it is time for their counterparts to welcome them back on the road. The Nuggets will be looking to strengthen their playoff hopes while the Lakers will bid to increase the pressure on Utah Jazz at the top.

They looked like a revelation in the Orlando Bubble. However, so far this season, they have blown hot and cold. They lie seventh in the Western Conference table (14-11 record) with the likes of Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors breathing down their necks.
If it wasn’t for the MVP-level play of Nikola Jokic, they wouldn’t be anywhere close to contention. But he’s failed to replicate that level of play against the Lakers. A dominant Anthony Davis seems to always lock him up in the paint.
Though, they have a chance to turn the tide in their favor. Jamal Murray is slowly looking like the player he was promising to be in the Bubble. He recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in their comeback victory against the OKC.

The only concern for the Lakers currently is the form and more importantly the fitness of Anthony Davis. LeBron’s commander-in-chief was out for a few games previously with an Achilles injury. Though, he made a return against the Memphis Grizzlies and notched 35 points along with 9 rebounds.
Led by LeBron James who does not wish to take a rest, the high-flying Lakers are on a seven-game winning run.
