NBA fans consider Michael Jordan as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. The Chicago Bulls legend established an NBA dynasty of dominance in the 90s with the Bulls. Jordan also helped market the league worldwide and commentators hail him as a cultural sports icon. He played 15 seasons in the NBA after starting his career with the Bulls in 1984.

Jordan married his now ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy, on September 2, 1989. He had two sons, Jeffrey and Marcus, and a daughter, Jasmine, with Juanita. The couple divorced in 2006. Jordan married his current wife, model Yvette Prieto, on April 27, 2013. They have two twin daughters named Victoria and Ysabel.

Jeffrey Jordan received a lot of media spotlight during his schools years. The media touted him as a future NBA star with some of his high school games airing on national TV. Jeffrey played for the University of Illinois and the University of Central Florida during his college career, however, he never made it to professional basketball.

Marcus Jordan, like his brother, failed to kick start a career in professional basketball. He played college basketball alongside his brother at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.

In a controversial incident in college, he caused Adidas to end their sponsorship deal with UCF due to his insistence on donning Nike Air Jordan shoes out of loyalty to his father.

Did Michael Jordan’s sons make the NBA?

Jeffrey Jordan left the UCF in 2012 and could not start a career in the NBA. His younger brother Marcus Jordan also left UCF in 2012 and also failed to launch an NBA career. Unlike their father before them, Michael Jordan’s sons naturally weren’t good enough to get drafted in the NBA.

Jeffrey Jordan co founded a charity organization with Marcus Jordan. They named the philanthropic foundation as ‘Heir Jordan’. Marcus Jordan launched a shoe store called ‘Trophy Room’ in Orlando, Florida at Disney World.

Michael Jordan arguably remains one of the most widely successful NBA players. He guided the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships between 1991 to 1998. Jordan also won six NBA Finals MVP awards during his two legendary 3-peat campaigns with the Bulls.
