The Lakers might be one of the most popular sports teams in the world. However, they’re going through a really rough phase marred by injuries, underperformance, and lack of chemistry. All this is tough to watch not just for a season ticket holder, but also for the regular fans and LeBron James himself.

King James is still recovering from his abdominal strain and might miss out on the play this next week. But he’s on the sidelines to cheer for his team be it a home or away game. However, the L-Train might’ve regretted traveling to Portland on November 6th.
LeBron James looked clearly disappointed in his team
Against the Blazers, the Lakers started the proceedings with pace but soon turned into a sloth. With Russell Westbrook shooting bricks and airballs, the Lake Show ran into a huge deficit. Then, Anthony Davis’s exit from the play worsened the condition.
So LeBron James, who had been active even from the sidelines in the past games, was also quietly sitting. In fact, he was looking at his watch, appearing to be regretting his presence. Take a look at a clip where Bron was perhaps reacting after a missed driving layup from Malik Monk.

The Lakers were running 24 points short from the opening minutes of Q2 and never really bounced back. Certainly, LeBron couldn’t have done anything from the bench because any pep talk would not help this struggling unit.

Will The Akron Hammer’s comeback change the Lakers’ fate?
The Lakers went to the Moda Center with a 23-35 record in LeBron James’ absence. But the forgetful night led to the unit’s 36th loss, making their odds to win without Bron go below 39%. Without the floor general in Bron, even coach Vogel failed to bring a trustworthy rotation to help the winning consistency.
So a comeback from King James will help the unit in psychological ways, knowing that they have someone clutch, outside of Melo. Plus, Bron can shoot and unlike Russ, he can put better numbers even on his worst nights.
